The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has interrupted everyday
life as we know it. As a result of this pandemic, the Philippines' economy
fell, due to bankruptcy, many buildings and businesses were forced to close. Because
of losing a job, most people struggle with poverty and are unable to provide
food for their families, which leads to hunger. The virus is contracted by
people due to a lack of body nutrients, which contributes to a rapid rise in
cases of COVID-19.
As a Filipino youth, by encouraging others to always wear
their mask, observe proper hygiene, and observe social distancing, I can help
myself and others. In this way, we will avoid the spread of the virus and help
the Philippines heal as one. I am also thankful to God, though God still protects
us from the virus, despite what is happening in our world. Although we don't
know when it will stop, we Filipinos keep fighting, we Filipinos are known to
be courageous, and we keep a happy face considering what's happening in our
world. We know that even in difficult circumstances, this pandemic will not
bring us down. "Pandemic ka lang, I am Filipino".
