Real-Life Heroes

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has interrupted everyday life as we know it. As tough as our present situation has been, the truth remains that we are kept out of the way of harm, willing to continue to function and be with our loved ones, because you have listened to the call to stop this pandemic.

We appreciate your sacrifice and commitment in supporting our fellow countrymen during this tough period to all healthcare staff and frontliners who are currently helping in the COVID-19 situation. We want you to reflect on the more meaningful duties at hand.

Thank you for all that you do, for your bravery and for your selflessness! You are in our thoughts and our prayers.

Pandemic Ka Lang, I am Filipino

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has interrupted everyday life as we know it. As a result of this pandemic, the Philippines' economy fell, due to bankruptcy, many buildings and businesses were forced to close. Because of losing a job, most people struggle with poverty and are unable to provide food for their families, which leads to hunger. The virus is contracted by people due to a lack of body nutrients, which contributes to a rapid rise in cases of COVID-19.

As a Filipino youth, by encouraging others to always wear their mask, observe proper hygiene, and observe social distancing, I can help myself and others. In this way, we will avoid the spread of the virus and help the Philippines heal as one. I am also thankful to God, though God still protects us from the virus, despite what is happening in our world. Although we don't know when it will stop, we Filipinos keep fighting, we Filipinos are known to be courageous, and we keep a happy face considering what's happening in our world. We know that even in difficult circumstances, this pandemic will not bring us down. "Pandemic ka lang, I am Filipino".

Everyone has dreams. Whether to become a scientist and discover new and amazing things, or become a star basketball player and be the highest paid player in the league, people dream about their future. I have dreams for the future just like everyone else. Dreams of the good life, with lots of money, hot girls, and fast cars! And I will do whatever it takes to achieve it.

My dream is to become a captain of a cruise ship. Lots of reason why I want to become a seaman. For me my first reason is I want my family to have a comfortable life and to sustain them with with their needs and wants. I know it is not easy to achieve my dream but one thing is I will study hard today so that my dreams will come true. Having a better life is also my dream and having my dream house and dream cars someday.

I want to give everything that my parents want. And I want to help my relatives by giving them capital for there business that they want. It just only a dream but someday I know it will be came true someday.

And this school year marks its 118th High School Day celebration. ISNHS foundation day usually starts in the month of March. This High School Day celebration is actually a two-day celebration. There will be a coronation, a parade of different grade levels in their respective costumes and a field demo that will happen in this two-day celebration.

I really hope that this last high school day as a Junior High School will be the best and the most awesome celebration ever.

Change is Coming

Image result for change is coming"Blessed with intellect and a set of skills, we, the human race, have been placed on Earth for a purpose, and it is our duty in life to discover exactly what that purpose is. As stated in the Bible, “to whom much is given, much is expected.” I believe giving back to society is, quite simply, a responsibility.

Changing the world begins with improving who we are on the inside. We each have a unique identity and our own distinct thoughts. These thoughts often propel us to act. So, by mindfully centering our thoughts in a positive direction, we can improve our actions and thus our character.

The positive impact I can make starts within myself; by becoming a truly giving person, I can change the world. While self-improvement may seem a passive process, it’s actually a challenge requiring daily practice. It involves continually controlling my thoughts and actions to determine the type of person I want to be. My mission to positively change the world begins with self-improvement and concludes with making kind acts an instinctive part of my daily life.

Viva Vigan

Image result for viva vigan"The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. St. Paul is Vigan City’s patron saint. Before his conversion, St. Paul was known as Saul, a zealous persecutor of Christians. After he was touched by a personal encounter with Jesus Christ on his way to Damascus, his name was changed to Paul and he endured a lot of hardships and danger to spread the word of God to far places.

Biguenos from all over the country and even abroad return to Vigan, as it is the custom of Filipinos to return to their hometown to join their family and friends in the celebration of their fiesta. They are joined by thousands of visitors from other parts of the Philippines and other countries in enjoying the cultural shows, parades and street dancing prepared by the local government with the help of the local industries and communities. There are also food fairs, arts and crafts exhibits, as well as a visiting carnival.

TRY SOMETHING NEW!

Image result for new year"New Year has always seemed to me a beginning of a new cycle, or a new path of self-development, but I never write detailed resolutions, having only abstractive understanding of my plans for future. But this year will end with a following resolution.

My New Year's resolution is to be more productive, organize my things, and boost my confidence. When talking about productivity there are a lot of things involved. School! I want to perform efficiently to have good grades. This New Year, a good resolution is to avoid procrastination.

Let's make resolutions to celebrate the start of the New Year! Think about ways in which you can improve yourself and your life, whether at home or school.

There are a lots of problems and challenges that I have encountered during the making of all the activities like errors and mistakes on the container tag, I often forgot to put the End Tag, Microsoft Frontpage is also fun and interesting to create. Anyway I've surpassed all this challenges by memorizing all basic html tags and also thinking like a proton, always think positive.

Christmas is Love

Christmas is celebrated every year on 25th December. It is mainly the festival of Christians. But in today’s time, the festival of Christmas has surpassed the religious boundaries and become a symbol of the holistic culture. The winters in December carry a festive feeling.

Image result for santa claus terrorists On Christmas night, folks enjoy a big feast and share gifts with each other. Lechon baboy and hamon are the special treats on Christmas. Kids are showered with lots of presents and new dresses. They also get to meet the ‘Santa Claus’, dressed in a fluffy red and white costume, who greets them with hugs and gifts.

Christmas is a festival of joy. It is about sharing and helping others. On this day, people remember Jesus Christ and his lessons of life. The festival definitely teaches us to practice kindness and love toward each other and help those who have less than us.
