TIME TO PLAY!

November mark the starts of National Childrens Month as declared by the Council of Welfare for Children (CWC). This month-long event aims to promote and spread awareness on the rights of children here in the Philippines, considering the political and social climate they live in.

With the theme, “Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan,” this year’s celebration of the NCM is made extra special as it coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC). It commemorates the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly on Nov. 20, 1989. 

Stairway marked National Children’s Month with plenty of enjoyable and inspiring activities for the children. The month ended with a wonderful awards ceremony recognizing the talents and personal achievements of the children.
