Reflection
AYE! CAPTAIN!

Everyone has dreams. Whether to become a scientist and discover
new and amazing things, or become a star basketball player and be the highest
paid player in the league, people dream about their future. I have dreams for
the future just like everyone else. Dreams of the good life, with lots of
money, hot girls, and fast cars! And I will do whatever it takes to achieve it.
My dream is to become a captain of a cruise ship. Lots of reason why I want to become a seaman. For me my first reason is I want my family to have a comfortable life and to sustain them with with their needs and wants. I know it is not easy to achieve my dream but one thing is I will study hard today so that my dreams will come true. Having a better life is also my dream and having my dream house and dream cars someday.
I want to give everything that my parents want. And I want
to help my relatives by giving them capital for there business that they want.
It just only a dream but someday I know it will be came true someday.

FOUNDATION DAY
Before the school year ends in Ilocos Sur National High
School, celebrates its Foundation Day. And this school year marks its 118th
High School Day celebration. ISNHS foundation day usually starts in the month
of March. This High School Day celebration is actually a two-day celebration.
There will be a coronation, a parade of different grade levels in their respective
costumes and a field demo that will happen in this two-day celebration.I really hope that this last high school day as a Junior High School will be the best and the most awesome celebration ever.

Change is Coming
Blessed with intellect and a set of skills, we, the human
race, have been placed on Earth for a purpose, and it is our duty in life to
discover exactly what that purpose is. As stated in the Bible, “to whom much is
given, much is expected.” I believe giving back to society is, quite simply, a
responsibility.
Changing the world begins with improving who we are on the
inside. We each have a unique identity and our own distinct thoughts. These
thoughts often propel us to act. So, by mindfully centering our thoughts in a
positive direction, we can improve our actions and thus our character.
The positive impact I can make starts within myself; by
becoming a truly giving person, I can change the world. While self-improvement
may seem a passive process, it’s actually a challenge requiring daily practice.
It involves continually controlling my thoughts and actions to determine the
type of person I want to be. My mission to positively change the world begins
with self-improvement and concludes with making kind acts an instinctive part
of my daily life.

Viva Vigan
The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is
celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of St. Paul the Apostle. St.
Paul is Vigan City’s patron saint. Before his conversion, St. Paul was known as
Saul, a zealous persecutor of Christians. After he was touched by a personal
encounter with Jesus Christ on his way to Damascus, his name was changed to
Paul and he endured a lot of hardships and danger to spread the word of God to
far places. Biguenos from all over the country and even abroad return to Vigan, as it is the custom of Filipinos to return to their hometown to join their family and friends in the celebration of their fiesta. They are joined by thousands of visitors from other parts of the Philippines and other countries in enjoying the cultural shows, parades and street dancing prepared by the local government with the help of the local industries and communities. There are also food fairs, arts and crafts exhibits, as well as a visiting carnival.

TRY SOMETHING NEW!
New Year has always seemed to me a beginning of a new cycle,
or a new path of self-development, but I never write detailed resolutions,
having only abstractive understanding of my plans for future. But this year
will end with a following resolution. My New Year's resolution is to be more productive, organize my things, and boost my confidence. When talking about productivity there are a lot of things involved. School! I want to perform efficiently to have good grades. This New Year, a good resolution is to avoid procrastination.
Let's make resolutions to celebrate the start of the New Year! Think about ways in which you can improve yourself and your life, whether at home or school.
